England striving to bring ‘fun and energy’ for West Indies ODIs | England cricket team

One day before the first ODI against the West Indies, England player Aldi was initially at the Colts Ground. Harry Brooke begins as the captain of his new permanent white -ball captain in Niter, the game is ranked ninth in the middle of the men’s ODI rankings.

That rating is sometimes a quarrel between big countries, but at present both parties are not one. South Africa and Zimbabwe host the 14 teams World Cup in 2027, after which the next eight places were booked through the International Cricket Council ladder in March this year. The West Indies know all about the dangers of qualifying tournament for other countries, the original World Champions – the winner in 1975 – loses the 2023 edition in India.

Even with the 50 overs format on the global retreat, there is a lot of cricket to go before it and can easily do the series with the series win to start the captaincy of England Brook. The role came after the winter of dissatisfaction, which led to Jose Butler fell on his sword: He won six defeats in six ODIs this year, and the Champions Trophy ended under the pile against Australia, Afghanistan and South Africa in Pakistan.

“We are going to bring a lot of energy, competitiveness and entertainment to Brandon McCullum for this new phase,” Brook said. “We want to try to pressure the opposition bowlers with their best balls. I think when I am batting my best, I often do it.”

Brook described Ben Stokes as his leadership music, and over time he could become his successor as a test captain. Yorkshireman also presented the struggle after the Butler’s T20 World Cup victory in 2022, which never turned his full strength for the bilateral series, which he and he wanted to change McCallum.

Butler was actually absent from optional training on Wednesday, less and more to give Brook some space because he only returned from the Indian Premier League. The West Indies had not enough to withdraw their players after the operation of England’s financial muscles – the recent missile attacks on Pakistan on Pakistan pushed the end of the IPL. Sheriffen Roder Ford and Romario Shepherd were in their original squad but are living in India to complete the tournament.

The newly -visible England does not actually feature any new faces, but some of the recent faces are playing in new positions. Braden Cars returned to give the attack a bit of a snail after the Monday injury, while it can be said that, if it can be said, Jamie Smith has to promote to open with Ben -Deccan – a plan McCullum swims in Pakistan for the first time when Smith was parachute and nine.

Brook confirmed, “(McCollum) had just received a burning desire that a day’s cricket could prove to be a wonderful opening batter,” Brook confirmed, “Brooke confirmed that Butler would be taking wicket -keeping gloves. Smith has been promised for a long time to make this position, McCallum believes he has a game of breaking the powerplay.

Another is supported for “quite late” Jacob Bethal, who has not played for England after a hamstring injury in February but has returned another from the IPL. Unlike the Test team, the 21-year-old has no ambiguity about returning directly, and that means working as one of the two spin-bibbling all-rounders along with Will Jacks.

Bethlehe was late in the parade in the morning and did not feel older than that some England’s net bowlers had worked with local leagues. But the chain that can get the left hand is followed by the larger day in Barbados since its days grew. The cheerleader in which the West Indies captain was happy to contribute to the Hoop.

Hoop said, “I had previously seen him at the police ground in Vimmut in the U-150s,” said Hope, “Hope said, which is fresh from the 1-1 series in Ireland. “Seeing that he has done franchise cricket in the past two months, internationally, is definitely a great skill. One of the players who can make a long journey.

“Whenever I play against him, whenever I see him, yes, he is not necessarily not fully on Bajan (these days), but it is great to stay around it, it gives me a sense of home. I am happy for him, seeing his success … but we are enemies this time.”

There was a shine in the hoop’s eye. It is the most friendly of the hostages even if Bethlehe came out for England – as part of the IPL contingent that has returned over time – indicate that the playground is not at all levels.
