Reddy, along with India’s 2016 Rio Olympics men’s doubles badminton player, was always serious in court. A local athletics coach, his father, Chandra Bhaskar Reddy, was often criticized for refusing to help his wards in the dope on Hyderabad’s meds. But he was determined to make his son a clean Olympian, even if his salary goes for Rs 25,000.
Always keep in mind that his father’s more than half of the modest salary was included in his badminton, and he was more wise than his years. But for a leading Mumbai doctor, he could not create anything that his compressed vertebury at the age of 20 had actually given him a 55 -year -old. Despite being the top 3 in India, by leaving his singles dreams, Someth made all this way to qualify for the Olympics, which, despite limited hit moving movements, made it a smart shutler, another smart shutler, with a limited move, despite a limited move.
An aggressive behavior to think of an aggressive attitude at the Net and Nonstop was an aggressive attitude, Somether’s powers. And after announcing his retirement on Monday, Someth is ready to sink in the entire scale coaching, which is important for India’s top women’s doubles pair, the top 10 Teresa Julie and Gayatri Gopichind.
Somether talks about the transfer of the coach to the coach.
How did the doubles badminton happen despite being the top India junior at one stage?
On one occasion (the future Olympians), there was a good junior at a place ahead of B Sai Prane and HS Pranu. But on the edge of the elderly, a sudden day this surprising pain began and I could not bend, could not walk without a wall help or use a washroom. Fizus told me that it looks huge and doctors told me MRI that it was a bone collapse, either because of hereditary or overuse. When I saw Sachin Tendulkar’s doctor (Dr. Anant Joshi), he said that I have a 55 -year -old boy. It was in poor condition. Singles have won extensively, but Gopi Bhaiya suggested that I try doubles. My game was never skilled or about a stroke, but I could kill 40/50 mid-sides without tired-5 more than the rifle-and aggressive on the net. I shot it, what else could I do?
What was the challenge about taking badminton?
We literally traveled 6 hours, 130 km, changed buses twice in the Lakdi bridge to reach Gachiboli in two sessions because I lived in Apple. Take the first bus for the session at 4.30 am for the session, then go back to the evening training. Many times I fell asleep at the bus stop, but we did not see it as a struggle because we wanted to play. But for 8 years, it is difficult to continue 8-10 hours of training. The family was spending Rs 15,000 out of Rs 25,000 on my game. Breaking the wires of the racket means a catastrophe at home, and there was stress because I didn’t work until the age of 20. Then there was a waist injury, but thankfully I started winning in doubles.
How difficult was the Olympics trip?
We’re talking about 2012-2015 when doubles support was non-existent, but I and Manu Attri and I were ready to grind. There was no Tips or OGQ for us, and foreign coaches (Tan Kim this) and government funding (Tips) came only in December 2015 when we almost qualified, from around the world to come from 50-60 to 13 qualifier brackets. It was about to play a small final, and use the $ 1000 prize amount to travel in the next one. We admitted that we were not in a position to win a big super series, so we traveled small meetings on our funding. On one occasion, we played tournaments at Mexico, USA, Guatemala, China, Vladivoc, Lagos Non Stop. No coach or physio. It was common for banks to stay in beds and not in hotels. Some tournaments were really random-a Central American location was a ton of shed in a large mountain cave, where the mat’s mat was earned by a dog and was constantly roaming. But we wanted the Olympics.
What was like Manu as a partner, and now when you are coaching, what’s the competition?
He was fun, I was serious. We had nothing to do with talking outside the badminton. So when we are with the Indian teams, we barely lived in the room. But we were both very professional and focused on purpose. Sano Thomas and Rupish Kumar were the top pair of India and tried to qualify for the London Olympics, but unfortunately it was short. There were many good couples among the citizens of Srinagar, but when I was great to use pressure on seniors while playing juniors, they were pressured with strategy and aggression. Similarly, we won our first national place from anywhere, and won some good international wins. As a coach, I appreciate Manu’s discipline and we will be a healthy competition as a coach.

How important was Sakki’s support? (Fellow Top 20 Doubles Player and Lieutenant wife)
Great help was my back injury when his knee was shot. We resettled together and started dating. Funcing, my first win was also when she wins her first women’s doubles title. I am at risk of doubting myself all the time and very serious. He achieved a lot of success in the juniors, so he is always a positive player who helped me to dominate the national level by 2018.
As a coach, which experience do you experience becoming a player?
We were never a powerful or tough hitter like Saturday, so clearly even a foreign coach did not help us much. But what we won was from strategy. Do not hit hard, but pick up, play a flat game that disturbs power hitters, causes confusion in them and pushes them back. As a coach, I keep reminding the pairs of small things. I can bounce on the moments when there is a shift of speed, when Ravi Attitude and aggression can help to bend the tables at large sports. I keep telling Teresa-Gayatri I believe that if they believe in it, they can defeat advanced Chinese. They were a set and 6-3 in the Swiss Open last week, and they needed to be a little more aggressive, adding more tension in the Chinese ranks. The win will come soon.
Happy with your career?
No regrets. There could be no more work. Give it all. Considering. I was never anyone who could not pick up 100kg in the gym with my back. But I learned to play smartly. Now I want to help as an Indian coach. I want my family to say, ‘He helped win the country.’
